Linda Anne Knox, LBSW, is a graduate of Wayne State University and has 38 years of professional experience working on behalf of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
She was the Ombudsman at a cutting edge non-profit agency in Michigan that provided services and supports to over 5,000 individuals. Her primary responsibilities included advocacy, rights protection and grievance resolution. Since retirement Ms. Knox serves as a Volunteer Advocate for her county’s Arc. This role allows her to remain connected to individuals and their families seeking assistance and support services. She is dedicated to assuring that individuals have every opportunity to live meaningful lives and are treated with dignity and respect. Ms. Knox was also elected to the Board of Directors at her county’s Arc.
